Delete your Bloombi account
Last updated: June 16, 2026
You can delete your Bloombi account — and all the personal data and content tied to it — at any time. There are two ways: directly from inside the app (fastest), or by emailing us (for cases where you no longer have access to the app).
Delete from inside the app
- Open Bloombi on your phone.
- Tap the avatar in the top-right of the Today screen to open your Profile.
- Scroll to Account and tap Delete account.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
The deletion is processed immediately. The account is signed out on the device right away and removed from our systems as described below.
Email request (if you can't access the app)
If you have uninstalled Bloombi, lost access to the email tied to your account, or otherwise cannot complete the in-app flow, email support@bloombi.app from the address associated with your account. Include the subject line "Delete my account" so we can process the request quickly.
We aim to action verified deletion requests within 7 business days. We may ask one follow-up question to confirm you are the account holder — we do not require any other information.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data is removed from our active systems within 30 days:
- Your account credentials and profile (email, display name, preferences)
- All plants, rooms, care schedules, and journal entries you created
- All photos you attached to plants or journal entries
- Device tokens used to deliver push notifications
- Any active or expired subscription records associated with your account
Encrypted backups containing your data may persist for up to 90 days before being overwritten. Aggregated or anonymized diagnostic logs that do not identify you may be retained for service-health analysis.
What is not deleted
Subscription billing records held by Apple App Store or Google Play (transaction IDs, receipts, refund history) are retained by those platforms and are subject to their data-retention policies, not ours. To manage that data, use the respective platform's subscription settings.
Deletion is permanent
Account deletion cannot be undone. If you change your mind, you will need to sign up again as a new user — your previous plants, photos, notes, and subscription history will not be recoverable.
